Our Story
Why we started Memory Verses...
Memory Verses began as a challenge from my wife. She decided to memorize one bible verse a week, and invited me along on the journey. Even though I resisted, I couldn't help but notice the changes in her, and the excitement that built as she got to know more and more of God's Word for herself. So, I decided to give it a go. But it was tough trying to learn the words by just reading the Scripture from an index card. That's when this online form of memorization was born. I created a program that prompted me to type out each Scripture from memory, filling in the missing letters to complete the verse. The results were amazing! What she had learned in eight weeks took me just one week to memorize. I knew this was something I needed to share with everyone.

As we continue to grow Memory Verses, we have exciting plans for the future. Our goal is to create the most encouraging and effective scripture memorization platform anywhere, offering advanced features and learning techniques. To keep this vision going, we plan to introduce a subscription model.
However, we firmly believe that financial circumstances should never stop someone from being able to study God's Word. That's why we're introducing a community growth program - users who invite 10 friends or family members will receive free access to our platform. This will allow us to help keep our platform sustainable, while making sure it remains accessible to anyone who's looking to grow in their experience of scripture.
The revenue we bring in through subscriptions will be used to develop better memorization tools, create more engaging features, and expand our platform's capabilities. Our team is committed to continuous innovation, always looking for new ways to make Memory Verses more effective and enjoyable.
Plus, we have a broader vision for promoting Bible memorization in the Christian community. We plan to partner with Christian podcasts and media platforms to share the importance of memorizing scripture – how it can truly transform anyone's walk with God. By reaching these audiences, we hope to inspire more believers to make scripture memorization a regular part of their day, ultimately creating a community of Christians who carry God's Word in their hearts.
