Introduction

By using MemoryVerses.com or the MemoryVerses iOS application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must not use this Service.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the integrity of your account, including using a robust password. You must behave respectfully and decently in all interactions. We have a zero-tolerance policy for rude or inappropriate behavior and reserve the right to terminate access for such behaviors without notice.

Content Ownership and Use

While users can freely use the content on our site for personal memorization and participation in community activities, any reproduction of content on external platforms or media without prior consent is prohibited.

Social Features

Our platform includes social networking features that allow you to connect with other users. When using these features, you agree to respect other users' privacy and not engage in harassment, spamming, or any form of inappropriate behavior. We reserve the right to restrict or remove social networking privileges for users who violate these terms.

Activity Feed Consent

By using MemoryVerses.com, you consent to your memorization achievements and progress being displayed in your friends' activity feeds. This includes practice sessions, memorized verses, group memberships, and other activities within public collections and groups. If you prefer to keep your activity private, you may use private collections which are not shared in the activity feed.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any account at our discretion without explanation or prior notice if we determine that the terms have been violated.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Ohio, and governed by the laws of Ohio. By using this site, you agree to this method and location for resolving disputes.

Subscriptions & Billing

MemoryVerses offers optional Premium subscriptions available as monthly or yearly auto-renewing plans. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process payments or refunds directly.

Free & Premium Access

MemoryVerses offers both free and premium tiers:

• Free: Unlimited daily practice, 2 practice methods, up to 10 verses, and 1 collection.

• Premium: Unlimited verses, collections, all 6 practice methods, groups, training courses, challenges, practice history, memorized verses tracking, read-aloud, and heat map.

Students with a valid .edu email address or enrolled in high school or college may be eligible for free Premium access. We reserve the right to verify student status and revoke free access if eligibility requirements are no longer met.

Family & Child Accounts

Parents may create family member accounts for their children. Child accounts are managed by the parent account and have restricted access to social features. Parents are responsible for their children's use of the Service and for ensuring that the account is used in accordance with these terms.

Mobile Application

Use of the MemoryVerses iOS application is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict between these terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall take precedence with respect to your use of the iOS application. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the app.
